Whenever people mention about Pop Art, the initial thoughts will be Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy and Campbell's Soup.It was originated from England in the 1950s and then emerged to United States in the 1960s. As day goes by, diversification is added and the outcome makes today's Pop Art.

I like the way they combine any random, common everyday objects into one graphic. No restrictions and vibrant colors are used.
That's the characteristics I adore heaps.

Art shouldnt have much restriction for me.I personally is a rebel at heart,disliking rules and loves to break them

disobedients are some of my awesome and nerve wrecking traits too for others haha.

but when u think of it,thats how u can express  yourself as whole,not being told by someone what to do or what not to do.Why cast so much restriction on yourself when all u need is to expand whatever creative thoughts that u have had in mind?

For me i love to be as free as a bird soaring in the sky,then u will be able to explore the big a vast open sky and come out with a lot more ideas :D xoxo

GACKYLICIOUS

 This week i would like to Blog about this person whos a bit wacky but have been a great source of inspiration to me as well as someone i really look up too that push me to do better in many aspects. lets Introduce GACKY WAI XIN LIN aka GAC GAC,Guek guek, and other embarassing nicknames she had tsk tsk.An ex student of UTAR,one of the top student in dean list during her time,a crazy but funny girl hail from ipoh as i am have been a great encouragement for me,and was partly a reason y i had chosen utar and not continuing advance diploma in ktar instead after graduating there.

Shes been like a mentor and a big sister to me for a long time.The bits and parts of her life,her inspiration,experience,wackyness always been some sort of encouragement to help me pull through when im doing an asignment or when im really exhausted  by something in life and im deeply fascinated by all the things she went through and her point of view to things which is individually unique and somewhat makes me wana be like her too lol,For me shes like somesort of a living inspiration machine always producing very good stuff thats creative,wacky funny and colorful.cant really seen a dull moment in her life which was very diffrent unlike me at that time when i get to know her.

Everytime when i really runs out of mood or inspirations i will just lookup on the previous stuff and photos she took and it will somehow calm me down and gives me encouragement to continue forward chasing after things that really meant something to u and u wanted it too.she change my outlook on life that theres another whole new world and perspective in life that u just have to try to be diffrent for a change and try on new stuff and not to be afraid of exploring.The more u get exposed to diffrent types of people,things,events, places, the more u can get inspired out from them even the simplest form of matter.

For me shes an irreplacable person that ever appear in my life and one that is really  meaningful to me and has given me a lot of things and open up my eyes to a diffrent world in art and design.a respectible figure of some sort to me :)

Stickman.the beginning of my creativity

Stickman figurines the beginning of my creativity in my early childhood.I used to buy a lot of big mahjong papers and keep drawing drawing and drawing stickman like the picture above and made up some kind of children fantasies such as dragonballs,becoming super saiya by drawing the aura around the stickman and the spiky hair .or muscular stickman around holding swords fighting each other in the whole drawing.allowing me to explore a lot of my own imagination and ideas.

An idea can be simple, but as  the core of the imagination the  possibilities of expanding ideas from the core are numerous.One should always remember to start from the basics,and then slowly try to explore more ways to expand ones creativity using the same thing and watch it evolve.This subject has remind me that creativity always comes in the simplest form 1st before expanding and evolving into a more complex subject ,a lesson which i had forgotten long ago and a mistake i always made by rushing into a more complex part and deny attention towards the more starting point of an idea.This should serve as a valueble lesson to evry designer out there not to forget about it.

Romantic Mystery

Jj lin jun jie,one of my favourite singer...well not just because of his outstanding and captivating voice..but also i realize the effort to shoot each of his Music video is special in its own way...its contains a strong idea of  individuality as well as its way unique than ur average music video in the chinese industries.. i enjoy watching his music videos as evry new album theres assurance that there will be something special or a change of style and techniques used to shoot that particular music video.This song titled  romantic mystery was shot at paris and contains a lot of elements that i really like no matter the color the flow of the storyline and the music to me was quite a perfect match..sometimes i really gain quite a bit of ideas to do things out from his music videos sometimes....giving me a picture this singer does work hard even to potray a particular feeling.The video capturing skills always inspires me to do something alike if only i can afford that kind of cameras and the equipments lol..this one much to my liking was the favourite currently since the background and the setting all over paris was quite fascinating in its own way.One have to truely savour and appreciate the content by watching the process of the video intentively.

LoMoGrApHy

Lomography,which i personally discovered about after incidentaly come across some few stunning pictures alike the above pictures,and i thought it was taken using some really high end cameras with photoshop.The unique colors,angle and the diffrence from ur above pictures led me to research more about the origins of the photos and thus i discover a whole new photography world.Lomography a type of pictures taken with funky and quirky analogue cameras,available  in diffrent shapes and sizes and it have the possibilities to test and explore ur imagination is practically infinite with the available diffrent type of lenses,filters,types of film used and the most interesting part above all..u can nvr predict how the pictures will turn out b4 u take them to be produce out.The anxiety and the infinite possibilities a photo might turn out to be extremely extravagant or even might be fugly or unique is a selling point and attraction towards lomo users nowadays. I personaly will like to explore more about the techniques and the combination of the equipments used to produce some really stunning pictures,personally it  inspires and attracted me to give myself a chance to try out lomography as well.
